Join a county-wide discussion with farmers and ranchers on Thursday, April 30, 2020 from 7-8:30pm. Connect with fellow farmers and ranchers to discuss specific challenges, opportunities, and strategies in light of COVID-19. Service providers will be available to listen and take notes for how to support, assist, and navigate this new reality together.
The Working Farmland Partnership (WFP), King County Agriculture Commission, and King County Technical Assistance Team are co-hosting this call. The WFP is a collaboration that aims to ensure a farming future in King County by keeping land in agricultural production and expanding access to farmland for producers. Organizers of this call include PCC Farmland Trust, SnoValley Tilth, American Farmland Trust, Viva Farms, King County Agriculture Program, International Rescue Committee, King County Agriculture Commission, King-Pierce Farm Bureau, and King Conservation District. This event is made possible by a grant from KCD’s Regional Food System program.
